2024 Fall Street Fair Vendor spaces available inside the Yellow Springs Senior Center Saturday, October 12, 9 am until 5 pm Applications are due September 13. Notifications will be sent out by September 20.
$30 per table for YSSC members $50 per table for non-members (Annual YSSC Membership is $25 for an individual)
All items sold must be made by a person (or related to) who is working at the booth.
Indoor table spaces (tables provided, most are 6 ft x 2.5 ft). If more than one table is needed for your space, you must pay for each table.
To apply for a space, complete the application attached. Payment is not necessary unless your application is accepted. All applications are not guaranteed a space. Priority will be given to members of YSSC, to local artisans, and to ensure a variety of items for sale.
Set–up takes place Friday, October 11 between 4–6 pm. Take–down is immediately after street fair ends at 5 pm. Vendors can leave labeled boxes in the Center until Monday, October 14 if needed. Vendors can leave as early as 2 pm but can't pack out until 5 pm or on Monday.
Items must be created by a person at the booth and can include: art, clothing, packaged foods*, jewelry, written work, cards, ceramics, fiber, wood, photography, painting/drawing, metal, mixed media, and other categories of this sort.
Items which may not be sold: any manufactured, store or online purchased items. No resale of collectibles, new or used manufactured items. This is not a garage or rummage sale.
*Food items sold must be fully packaged, not for consumption while at the Center, and include all required labeling as directed by the Greene County Department of Health. This includes ingredients, weight, and statement that the items are home produced.
The Center will provide: Tables, chairs, electricity, climate-controlled space, bathrooms (they will be secured so that the public does not use them); signage to invite people into the building, incentives / giveaways to lure people in to the building.
Vendors must provide: ways to process payment & make change; shopping bags; table coverings, signage (if wanted). Vendors may take breaks if they have a substitute/fellow vendor to tend to their booth. Booths should remain available for sales throughout the event, unless all items are sold out. Please note that most vendors will be next to their table, and not behind it.
There will NOT be parking available at the Senior Center the day of street fair. Plan to carpool or have someone drop you off. Vendors must arrive by 8:45 am the day of the sale.
