Life takes on a special meaning when you choose to leave a gift for the benefit of present and future generations.

When we plant a tree, we don’t plant it for ourselves, but for our children and those who come after us.

The Legacy Society of the Yellow Springs Senior Center was established to recognize and honor those individuals who choose to name the Yellow Springs Senior Center as a beneficiary in any type of planned or deferred gift.

As a member of the Legacy Society, you will be supporting the important services and activities of the Yellow Springs Senior Center and ensuring a healthy future for our organization. Throughout our more than 50 year history, membership has given, received, and greatly benefited from the heart-felt gifts of planned giving.

You are invited to join a tradition of generous giving by adding your legacy of support. The Legacy Society membership is honorary. Once you inform the Yellow Springs Senior Center of your gift, you are
a member of the Legacy Society. Your planned gift may be in the form of:

Bequests from your Will
Gifts of Stocks, Bonds, IRAs, or Cash
Distribution from an Insurance Policy
Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Consult your financial advisor and attorney to assure your intentions are carried out.

You may also make your gift through one of our endowment funds held at the Yellow Springs Community Foundation and/or the Springfield Foundation. Each fund distributes part of its earnings in perpetuity to support the Yellow Springs Senior Center.
