Parkinson’s Puzzle Hunt – FAQs

Picture
Second Annual
Parkinson’s Puzzle Hunt
A Fundraiser for “Parkinson Support and Wellness”

Saturday, May 30, 2026
1–4 pm
Yellow Springs, Ohio

Teams of 1–4 people
$10 per person until May 15
$15 per person after May 16
Limited to 80 participants
Q: Is this a race?
A: Nope, we want every team to be able to relax and enjoy the hunt without having to rush.

Q: Walking is sometimes a challenge for me, can I drive instead?
A: You can drive to get to, or close to most locations. However this hunt is best done on foot. Bikes are not recommended because Saturdays can get busy, and it will be hard to navigate.

Q: I’d like to bring my kids, is the hunt appropriate for them?
A: Yes! The hunt is designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages. No touchy subjects, bad words, or super complicated number crunching included.

Q: Will there be prizes and awards?
A: Yes! There will be awards for the cleverest team name, the oldest team and the youngest team. Also each participant can choose a small piece of art as a memento of their day.

Q: How can I honor my loved one who has Parkinson’s?
A: You can sponsor a puzzle to be created in honor of your loved one with Parkinson’s. In 2025, our Puzzle Poobah created the entire hunt in memory of her mom, who had Parkinson’s, and who passed away in December of 2024. Going forward, she will honor or remember a loved one with Parkinson’s in your life by creating a puzzle tailored to them. You provide information such as what they love, a favorite puzzle type, things that always make you think of them, and our Puzzle Poobah will work them into a puzzle. Wording will be added to the booklet (if desired) that the puzzle is for them. Your additional $50 donation will be added to the amount which is donated to Parkinson Support and Wellness. Eight sponsorships are available; deadline is April 17.
