Parkinson’s Puzzle Hunt – FAQs

Picture
First Ever!
Parkinson’s Puzzle Hunt
A Fundraiser for “Parkinson Support and Wellness”

Saturday, June 17, 2023
9:30 am–1 pm
Yellow Springs, Ohio

$25 per team of 1–4 people until June 10
$30 per team after June 10
$10 for a single remote participant
Q: Is this a race?
A: Nope, we want every team to be able to relax and enjoy the hunt without having to rush.

Q: Walking is sometimes a challenge for me, can I drive instead?
A: You can drive to get to, or close to most locations. However this hunt is best done on foot. Bikes are not recommended because summer Saturdays can get busy, and it will be hard to navigate.

Q: I’d like to bring my kids, is the hunt appropriate for them?
A: Yes! The hunt is designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages. No touchy subjects, bad words, or super complicated number crunching included.

Q: What's the deal with remote participants?
A: This option allows you to include a friend or family member on your team who can’t join you in person. Perhaps their mobility won’t allow it, or they live too far away, but they’re eager to help you solve puzzles. We will send them the packet of information by email so they can play along with you. One of your in person team members can connect with them by phone or tablet so they can play along.

Q: Will there be prizes and awards?
A: Yes! There will be awards for the cleverest team name, the oldest team and the youngest team. Also each participant can choose a small piece of art as a memento of their day.
